How did it all start?
I founded North Ray in the spring of 2023, amidst life changes. I had tragically lost my father the previous fall, and at the same time, my own health challenges had resurfaced. Life's unexpected events forced me to pause and prioritize my own well-being.
I believe that silence and stillness often create something good. I have a strong feeling that the brightest star in my own starry sky, my father, led me to this new and wonderful place. I have always had a strong desire to help fellow human beings, especially through my own experiences and elements that improve my own life. Due to personal health challenges and sleep difficulties, I took a critical look at the effects of colored blue light glasses on recovery, recovery and quality sleep, with other fellow human beings in mind.
As soon as I received my first test glasses from our factory, the world brightened up for me, both literally and mentally. The impact of the colored blue light glasses on my sleep, eye health, and overall well-being was immediate and overwhelming.
I looked at the landscape, brightened by the glasses, with a drop of light in my lens, towards the sky and said: “Thanks, Dad, you were right.”
From this moment on, our mission has been crystal clear: we want as many people as possible to experience the diverse possibilities offered by our colored blue light glasses and gentle warm lamps. We are deeply grateful for all the wonderful reception our products have already received. The quality, appearance and functionality have been praised by our customers, and we hope that in the future we will be able to help improve the quality of life of even more customers with our products.
A small but lively family business
We are a small family business from Pirkanmaa, specifically from Valkeakoski. Our small but efficient team ensures that all orders and inquiries are handled with precision and with a big heart. Piia is responsible for processing orders with precision, Iiris is friendly and helpful in customer service, and Aleksi handles returns and inventory issues with an iron fist. I myself tinker a little here and there, but my heart is in ensuring high-quality customer experiences and partnerships in every area.
Our dream is to grow our company so that in the future we can employ not only myself but also the cheerful and energetic helpers already in our team full-time in a relaxed, flexible and enjoyable workplace. My biggest dream is to also have my sons Aleksi and Eemeli work full-time within our beloved family business.
