Charging and compatible adapters
The HOHDE reading light is charged with the included USB-C cable. Please note that the package does not include a wall adapter, but you can use any DC5V USB power source, such as a phone charger. You can easily charge the lamp with, for example:

Erittäin hyvä lukuvalo, muutaman kuukauden käytön jälkeen päätimme tilata toisen. Hieman himmeämpi voisi olla, mutta ei haittaa kuitenkaan.
Todella kätevä lisä lukemiseen. Kaunis, keltainen valo.
Todella hyvä valaisin illalla tai yöllä, kevyt kantaa ja pysyy hyvin pystyssä. Akun kesto voisi olla hieman parempi mutta lataaminen on helppoa. Valo himmenee kun akku alkaa olla lopussa, jolloin tietää että se täytyy ladata.
Miellyttävä iltalukemiseen ja käsitöiden tekemiseen.
Kätevä siirtää uuteen paikkaan ja kun on tuo kiinnitysmahdollisuus.
Kiva, miellyttävä valo. Klipsu pysyy hyvin kirjassa kiinni ja on kevyt.
Hyvä lukulamppu, mutta valkoisella värillä ”läpikuultava” myös ns. lampun takapuolelle, josta lukiessa hieman ”valosaastetta” makuuhuoneeseen. Ongelma erityisesti kun kumppani nukkuu ja itse lukee. Voisi olla myös vielä pienempi teho-säätö, eli esim 4 eri tehoaluetta.
Mahtava ja monikäyttöinen valo aamun ja illan hämärään! Tämä on käytössä iltalukemisessa, mahdollisilla yön vessareissuilla sekä tulevaisuudessa myös vauvan yöllisissä hoitotoimenpiteissä. Helppo laittaa kiinni esim. hyllyn reunaan, mutta pysyy pystyssä myös omalla jalallaan. Plussaa taivutettavasta varresta ja eri kirkkaussäädöistä.

Loistava valo illalla kirjan lukemiseen sängyssä ja bonuksena toimii myös pieniin yöllisiin kulkemisiin. Häiritsee huomattavasti vähemmän puolisoa kuin normaali yöpöydän valo. Klipsikiinnitys käy kirjan lisäksi esim. paidan kaula-aukkoon: mökillä pimeässä näppärä kulkuvalo, joka jättää kädet vapaiksi. Itse näen hyvin lukea myös himmeimmällä asetuksella, joka ei ole minulle liian kirkas.

Benefits of natural blue light from the sun

- Mood enhancement: Blue light has positive effects on mood improvement and alleviating seasonal affective disorder, especially during the winter months.
- Biological rhythm: Blue light affects the body's internal clock and can help regulate sleep patterns, especially during the day.
Disadvantages of artificial blue light:
1. Sleep difficulties
- Disruption of melatonin production: Blue light inhibits the production of melatonin, a hormone that regulates sleep patterns. Exposure to blue light late in the evening or at night can make it difficult to fall asleep and reduce sleep quality. This can lead to insomnia and fatigue the following day.
- Disruption of the internal clock: Prolonged exposure to blue light can disrupt the body's internal clock, which can cause problems with sleep and wakefulness.
2. Eye damage
- Retinal damage: Blue light, particularly its shorter wavelengths (for example, from LED lights and display screens), can cause retinal damage. Long-term exposure can lead to the development of "blue light ischemia," which can increase the risk of eye diseases such as cataracts or macular degeneration.

Day or evening glasses?
If you want to take optimal care of your well-being and protect against blue light, we definitely recommend choosing both day and evening glasses.
For blue light protection purposes, an orange lens used during the day might be a bit too effective as a blue light blocker. Therefore, for daytime use, we recommend a yellow lens, which prevents 84% of all harmful blue light.
If, on the other hand, the most important reason for using blue light glasses is to improve sleep quality and optimize your circadian rhythm, then we recommend an orange lens for evening use. The orange lens blocks 97% of all harmful blue light and significantly helps the body achieve better and higher quality sleep.
If you only want to start with one pair of glasses and need blue light protection both during the day and in the evening, then we recommend choosing day glasses with yellow lenses. You can use the glasses from morning to evening, and as a shift worker, also during night shifts. Although the blue light protective effect of the yellow lens for evening use is not as effective as that of the orange lens, the high-quality 84% blue light protection of day glasses in the evening is still a significant aid towards better sleep.
For hobbies, as an accessory, while driving, for sunglasses, and in other activities, you can use yellow and orange lenses entirely according to your own preferences! Through both lenses, the world looks wonderfully bright and clear! We always ship orders from our warehouse within 1-3 business days. Posti usually takes 2-4 days for delivery. If your order is delayed, please contact us at info@northray.fi and we can check the status of your shipment together.

- If your order includes Ilmari glasses, reading lights, or navigation lights, your products will be delivered to the nearest Posti pickup point.
- Posti's delivery time is usually 1-4 business days. Delivery fee for all orders is €4.90.
- Do I automatically receive an order confirmation? Yes, it will be sent via email.
- What payment methods do you offer? Payment methods include online banking, credit cards, installment payment, Klarna, and PayPal, all securely processed through Paytrail.
Warranty
All our products come with a 12-month warranty. If your product breaks within this period without external cause, we will repair or replace it. The warranty covers manufacturing defects, but not normal wear and tear or damage caused by improper use or care.
Exchanges and Returns

Products to be returned or exchanged must be:
