• Retinal damage : Blue light, especially its shorter wavelengths (such as from LED lights and screens), can cause retinal damage. Long-term exposure can lead to the development of "blue light ischemia," which can increase the risk of eye diseases such as cataract surgery or macular degeneration.
• Digital eye strain : Prolonged use of screens can lead to digital eye strain, which is characterized by symptoms such as eye strain, dryness, redness, and discomfort. This can be caused by glare from blue light.

If you only want to go out with one pair of glasses and you need blue light protection both during the day and at night, then we recommend choosing day glasses with a yellow lens. You can wear glasses from morning to night and, as a shift worker, also during night shifts.
